Brilliant

This is pretty good. I'm especially impressed by what you did with the music. The hidden director's commentary was pretty well-hidden, considering that you cannot change the size of the pop-up for animations on Newgrounds =P. The prunes epilogue was a nice touch, too. XD

TmsT responds:

Prunes eh? I was told that they were grapes.

Good. ...good.

Let's see... stick figures fighting. The animation was good, but they were stick characters. That's how I balanced that mark. Good song for the fight; no sound effects. no mysteries about that mark. Well, as you said. This is masterpiece.

A little slow, but it's still the best.

Great graphics throughout. Great fight. The references to Dragon Ball were amusing, especially the "Super Luigi" transformation. The sound was iffy and there were only basic buttons, which are fine in my book; they still deserve those marks, though. I would've given a ten for style if it weren't for the pace of the movie. Great work.

Brilliant, yet... meh.

Great idea and great style. The graphics were good. The sound was oldskool Nintendo-style and what seemed like .midi, so that's why I gave that mark for sound. Don't worry, though. That mark I gave for the sound is under the same principle as why Parappa games get bad marks for graphics: they're meant to be that way, but they're not good.

Wonderful in some aspects. "Meh" in other aspects

THe graphics were mostly static pictures. But that was the style you were going for, which was great. Wonderful narrative; practically professional-like in a sense.

Pretty good. Goku changed into Gohan in this. Why?

Why did Goku suddenly change into Gohan in that fight? It's good. It would've been great, except that the middle part took took long and its pace was too slow. I can tell you put a lot of effort in this.

I feel for you, man.

So sorry about your tragedy. (-__-+) Then again, maybe you didn't do it! Nah. You probably are telling the truth. So sorry, man. I was looking forward to it.

Beautiful. Just beatiful.

Good style and graphics. Violence... meh. It's a little funny. Good voice acting. You just need a button to start the movie manually... I think... I don't remember. Good movie.

Doesn't this series belong to a different user?

Doesn't this belong to user "Brian_Matthews"? This is assuming that the "Brian_Matthews" guy really is the creator. (check the quote in his profile) Notice that I gave this a zero overall, yet gave what I would've if I didn't think it was stolen. If you are just "Brian_Matthews" and just forgot your password, then sorry. (-__-+)

TkyToaster responds:

Jim Jenkins is the writer of the Stone Trek series. Brian has a poky 56k modem, and Jim has a DSL, so Jim uploads the toon and emails Newgrounds to put Brian's name on it. It takes a day or two, so please bear with us.

Stay tooned, and keep on trekkin'.

Well done.

I was really iffy on the graphics. You resorted to stick figures, but they actually came out quite well; still better than other stick movies, though. You used the Japanese music and I think you also used music from the American version, but hey, where else are we supposed to get music, eh? Pressing those buttons for dialogue really got annoying after a while. A very sweet movie. Sweet indeed.

I'm not here on Newgrounds as often as I used to be. Oh well.
